Don’t miss out and put your Chinese wines, rice wines and spirits on the global stage with the world’s oldest international wine and spirit competition.
After a landmark year in 2024, the IWSC is proud to return to China for its Wine and Spirits Judging in 2025. In partnership with the Beijing International Wine & Spirit Exchange, this year’s judging promises to be even more significant, offering Chinese producers an unparalleled opportunity to gain international recognition. Wine judging will take place in Yinchuan, Ningxia, while spirits judging will be hosted for the first time in Qionglai, Sichuan, marking an exciting milestone for Chinese spirits.
Six reasons to enter the IWSC in China
- The IWSC is one of the most respected competitions in the industry, with a legacy of over 50 years. Winning an IWSC award is a powerful endorsement, recognised by trade professionals and consumers worldwide. By entering, producers can elevate their reputation on an international scale.
- The IWSC brings together top industry professionals, including master sommeliers, buyers, distributors, and journalists. Their expert assessment ensures that every entry is judged fairly and with the highest level of scrutiny, providing valuable credibility to award-winning wines and spirits.
- China’s wine and spirits industry is rapidly expanding, and competition is fierce. An IWSC award can open doors to new distribution channels and retail opportunities, both locally and globally. Winning producers gain access to a broader market, helping them attract importers and buyers.
- Participating in the IWSC judging is more than just a competition, it’s an opportunity to build relationships. The event fosters connections with influential figures in the wine and spirits industry, including judges, fellow producers, and potential business partners.
- With dedicated judging sessions in China, the IWSC is committed to highlighting the quality and diversity of Chinese wines and spirits. This localised approach ensures that producers receive the attention they deserve while competing on a global stage.
- For the first time, entries for both wines and spirits are available in both English and Mandarin. This makes the process more seamless for producers across China, ensuring greater participation and accessibility.
