REWARDING PRODUCERS
The IWSC not only recognises excellence in the quality of liquid in the wines, spirits and other drinks entered into its awards, it also recognises the hard work producers put in to creating brands using methods which don't harm our natural world. Rewarding businesses with a holistic understanding of the impact they have on our environment and are actively making changes to their processes to ensure cleaner, greener production.
Awarding wine entrants working to preserve and protect old vines and spread awareness of the importance of nurturing heritage vineyards. Entrants to our awards will be asked to highlight the age of the vines used to produce their wines during the submission process. After judging, a shortlist will be created of the best performing old vine entrants. Find out exactly why Perdeberg were our 2024 Old Vine Trophy winner.
