The IWSC Wine Communicator trophy, sponsored by Veronafiere, recognises an individual who makes an exceptional contribution towards publicising wine to a consumer audience.

Entries are welcomed from across the worlds of publishing, journalism, broadcasting and education, and are judged by a panel of experts.

The winner of the 2022 Wine Communicator award will be announced in November and following the announcement, the IWSC will look forward to working closely with them in a program of activations throughout the year including hosting a masterclass at Vinitaly in Verona and producing features in the IWSC’s sister publication, Club Oenologique.

Previous winners of this award include last year’s winner Elaine Chukan Brown, as well as Madeline PucketteTom CannavanJoe Fattorini, Joe Wadsack, Tyson Stelzer, Jane Parkinson and Jancis Robinson MW.

Veronafiere, are the organisers of Vinitaly one of the world’s largest wine trade shows.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Vinitaly was forced to postpone its 54th edition of the event, however the four-day event is now scheduled for 10-13 April 2022 in Verona.
