De Bortoli Wines has won the inaugural Winery Innovator of the Year trophy at the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC), being recognised for the unique packaging on its newly released Rosé Rosé.
A Ningxia-based boutique winery won the award at this year's International Wine & Spirit Competition as Chinese wine and spirits are seeking recognition at one of the world's most prestigious spirit competitions.
Both packagings were awarded for the whole: from the bottle to the closure. And of course here at Tapì we designed and manufactured the closures, with an aluminium screwcap for Tigre Blanc® and a closure in natural wood from the Signature Essence line for Bartolomeo®.
Following a second Trophy win for Adnams Longshore Vodka at the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC), as well as silver medals for Adnams East Coast Vodka and Rye Hill Vodka, Adnams is thrilled to have been awarded Vodka Producer of the year at the annual IWSC banquet and awards ceremony.
Glenmorangie, one of the most awarded whiskies, took pride in its Glenmorangie Signet, the 2016 Whisky of the Year. The brand also showcased its Glenmorangie Lasanta 12, a gold medal awardee in the International Wine and Spirit Competition.
Tishbi also produces brandy, and Oshra tells us that in 1996, their first year of production, a Jonathan Tishbi three-year-old brandy won the gold medal for worldwide Best Brandy and the Domecq Trophy at the International Wine and Spirit Competition in London.
