Southwold distillers Adnams won the international Gold award in this year's International Wine and Spirtis Competition, against top whiskies from around the world, for its Rye Malt Whisky, inspired by the Suffolk villlage of Reydon.

Achroous, the signature gin from Leith-based Electric Spirit Co., was among only a small selection of gins from across the globe to score 96 points or higher out of the possible 100 available at the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC).
Mr McGuigan, a four-time winner of the London International Wine and Spirits Competition international winemaker of the year, will remain a technical advisor to the company he has been with since 2004.
Sakurao Distillery’s Limited gin is made with lemons, oranges and yuzu grown around Hiroshima. The distillery swept away global competitors to earn Gold – Outstanding at the prestigious Britain-based International Wine & Spirit Competition 2018.
