From
Jerez, Spain
Tasting Note
" Deep russet; polished oaken streaks. On the nose are aromas of solera, caramelised oranges, leather saddles, scented tobacco, honey-roast pecans and demerara sugar. There is an edge of green-olive bitterness and a whiff of the seashore. The wonderful firm structure is splash-painted with flavours of marmalade, salted almonds, bitter chocolate and treacle. The innate strength, complexity and concentration are a wonder and a tribute. The wine sings of majesty – really wonderful; a veritable classic. "
