Tasting Note
" Deep mahogany bronze in colour, with rose-gold highlights. Pungent and complex aromas: humidor, cigar box, walnut, toasted black sesame and poppy seeds. There are also drifting smoky barrel whiffs, roasting coffee beans, ganache, Jamaican peppercorns, a spiced compote of peaches, apricots and plum, and raisins and prunes. Caramel and toffee. There is lovely tension, structure and warming alcohol, and the walnut edge is drawn out by a long smoky finish. Balanced, satiny smooth flow, warm and smoky, with a nutty, savoury, dryish finish. "
