Jerez, Spain
Tasting Note
" Tawny coppery amber, with a tiny green rim. Smoky nose, rancio characters; coffee, balsamic, soy; sticky ginger pudding, raisins, marmalade and orange bitters. The palate is savoury, umami and multilayered, with flavours and textures cascading over the woody structural frame. Sensuous, teasingly dry and full of sweet hints. Hazelnut flavours carry throughout the drive of the wine, taking up a slightly bitter note of walnut and chestnuts. Svelte chocolate/coffee-liqueur finish. Beautiful, poised and stylish in the extreme. "
