From
Mclaren Vale, Australia
Tasting Note
" Deep crimson purple. Abundant sweet ripe cassis, black cherry and blackberry aromas, spicy anise and coffee hints with smoky oak characters. In the mouth the tannins are plentiful and firm, juicy luscious weight of fruit and bright spicy patches. The oak is smoky and threads its way throughout the palate. The finish has a chalky chocolate texture, typical of McLaren. Very long and robust but very beautiful. Time will tame it. "
