Ian Chang is the co-founder, Master Distiller & Blender at Komoro Distillery in Japan. With over two decades of experience in the whisky industry, Ian has recently embarked on a new journey with Komoro Distillery, which began production last year. Prior to this, Ian played a pivotal role at Kavalan Distillery in Taiwan, where his work contributed to many award-winning whiskies.

Ian is honoured to serve as a judge at the IWSC, where he shares his passion and gains valuable experience with fellow judges. He remains committed to continuous learning and strives to contribute positively to the whisky community.
