Originally from the world of Classical Music, Andrew started his wine career, as many did, at Oddbins, before moving to London to work with one of the countries leading fine wine merchants.  Now, as Managing Director, Andrew oversees the London office for Woodwinters, one of the most awarded and dynamic wine merchants in the UK.

As well as growing the sales team and its reach in the UK, Andrew is heavily involved in enlarging the portfolio, with its best in show Italian division as well as other key focuses like South Africa.  Recent areas of buying interest have included Greece and Chile, especially the new wave of exciting wines out of Itata.

Andrew's two specific areas of expertise are the wines of Santorini, especially Assyrtiko, and the many faces of Nebbiolo in it's homeland of Piedmont.
