Daniel De Carteret wine maker at La Mare Wine Estate is celebrating Domaine De La Mare being awarded Bronze at the IWSC International Wine and Spirit Competition.
The award is under strict judging criteria by the industries top international professionals.
Daniel says ‘This shows that through tireless dedication, passion and hard work great things can be achieved on good Jersey soil with sunshine, time, effort and skill. It is great to have the recognition that La Mare Wine is in the same league as the top UK vineyards like Denbies, Ridgeview and Camel Valley and better than all other worldwide entries that did not score’.
Domaine De La Mare is barrel fermented dry white wine that has great balance and length and has lovely orange citrus, lime marmalade and vanilla spice on the nose.
