The IWSC has announced it will be taking its globally respected wine awards to Georgia this October. Following its successful local judging in South Africa and Conegliano-Valdobbiadene earlier this summer, the IWSC is now inviting producers in Georgia to enter its awards.
We are delighted to kick start our 2024 Wine Awards at the “cradle of winemaking”. This autumn, our international experts will be heading to Georgia to judge wines from the world’s most ancient viticultural region.
Kicking off our 2025 Global Judging events, we headed to Georgia for the IWSC Wine and Spirits Judging in the country. Following the first 2 days of judging, we caught up with the panel to find out their highlights so far.

The IWSC is delighted to announce its return to Georgia for the third Global Judging event in the country, this time focusing on both wines and spirits from Georgia and Armenia.
