Tasting Note
" Burnished oak colour with mahogany highlights. The nose is redolent, with lovely aged characters of oolong tea, truffle, star anise, Christmas cake and a whole host of dried citrus, stone and raisined fruits, caramel and honeycomb. The palate is equally packed full of flavours and textures, cut with a thrum of nervous acidity. The oak has all but disappeared into the wine but lends background support. A delicious wine to sit and enjoy in contemplation and peace. "
