"
Deep intense red colour. Nose sings of crushed
blackcurrants and kirsch. Hints of earthy depths and
sweet vanillin oak. Rich succulence of fruits in the
mouth, spice and bitter chocolate, all upheld by a firm
tannic structure and keen acidity. This travels
wonderfully across the palate and has a long
generous finish. A big wine, superbly balanced and
with great ageing potential.
