" Opaque with tight, grainy, purple rim. Nose abounds with ripe red fruit where plums are important. Ripe banana and some attractive earthy notes. Beautifully defined and great structure and balance. Careful oaking. Supple tannins. Long , fruity finish. Very attractive now but will well repay some patient aging. "
