" Dense purple red to rim. Lifted concentrated aromas, black bramble fruit compote, tobacco and a light whiff of menthol. The palate shows lashings of ripe intense fruit, sweet and savoury oak, ripe full tannins and plenty of energy. Needs some cellaring time for the whole to knit but a wonderful wine even now. "
