" Opaque with tight, purple rim. Rich, full, ripe berry driven nose. Herbal and fynbos hints with lavender backing. Just the lightest touch of vanilla and violet. Big, bold entry into the mouth with deep layered flavours repeating all the nose promised. Well balanced and supple tannins. Very attractive now but will well repay five or six more years in the bottle. "
