" Opaque with plush, fine, purple rim. Deep, concentrated and complex nose brimming with dark, ripe berry flavours, spice and floral notes. The integration is such that single characters hardly emerge and one is presented with a magnificent shiraz. Slowly some dark cherry, pepper and vanilla begin to show. Some developing anise and dark chocolate. Big and muscular in the mouth yet with tremendous balance and poise. Super soft glide across the palate with subtle, gentle tannins. Enormously long finish where black maraschino cherries appear. A wonderful adventure now but will be magnificent in six to ten years and then some. "
