Tasting Note
" Complex, with an interesting combination of ripe red fruit, blackcurrants, and fresh underlay. This fades to the warm combination of sweetness and tartness found in a rich port. A bold combination of musky, soaked wood with a complex, almost bitter stalkiness. This quietens on the finish to notes of chocolate mousse, raspberry, cherry, and - finally - dark chocolate. An interesting whisky with a beautifully complex finish. "
