Born in rural Bavaria, Michael inevitably developed an early enthusiasm for the beer category which later transformed into a deep affection for whiskies, cocktails and fine bar culture. He honed his craft in some of London’s leading five star hotel bars before taking over the reigns of the Canvas Bar in the prestigious Dolder Grand Hotel in Zürich, Switzerland. His goal is to spread his dedication for the water of life and ultimately convince especially newcomers of the joys of whisky.
