IWSC 2023 Spirits Awards: Aquavit

Our 2023 awards was a strong year for some of our entrants in the Aquavit category.  Whilst a traditional distilled spirit from Scandinavia, growing international appreciation has resulted in the aquavit being made further afield.

Typically made from grain or potato-based alcohol, and flavoured with a variety of herbs and spices, the IWSC 2 Gold Outstanding medals were awarded to Aquavits – one from Denmark and one from the USA.
