The IWSC will once again be attending ProWein, the world’s leading trade fair for wine and spirits.

ProWein will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, with more than 6,800 exhibitors from over 60 countries convening in Dusseldorf for some 500 events, including numerous guided tasting sessions, seminars and presentations. The IWSC will be showcasing a selection of IWSC award-winning wines and spirits from all over the world.

As well as presenting bottles for tasting, the IWSC will also be offering free bottle collection for wine and spirit entrants at its ProWein stand (Hall 9/F01). If you are entering the IWSC 2019, you can save money by dropping off your bottles in person rather than shipping them. In order to do this, entrants should bring four bottles of each entry to the IWSC stand at ProWein, along with the entry confirmation email and entry number.

The IWSC will also be hosting an invitation-only dinner during ProWein, in celebration of its 50th anniversary. The competition has announced a number of new initiatives to mark this milestone, including a partnership with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) to launch 'The Future 50'. The initiative will award 50 of the global wine industry’s up-and-coming talent under the age of 40, recognising those who will shape the landscape for the years to come.

ProWein 2019 takes place in Dusseldorf, Germany from 17-19 March 2019. Enter the IWSC  2019 now, and drop off your bottles at the IWSC ProWein stand.
