Sichuan Wenjun Distillery Co., Ltd., is a leading figure among
China's young and middle-aged baijiu experts. He holds the titles
of Chinese Baijiu Craft Master, National Baijiu Tasting Judge,
and Expert Committee Member of the National Liquor Quality
Inspection Center. Yan serves as a council member of the 7th
Council of the China National Food Industry Association and
a senior assessor certified by the Ministry of Labor and Social
Security.
He is also a part-time professor at Sichuan University of Science
& Engineering’s China Baijiu Institute, a member of the Sichuan
Baijiu Experts Committee, a Sichuan Provincial Technical Expert,
a Chengdu Craftsman, and one of the first vocational skill leaders
recognized by the Chengdu Municipal Government. Yan founded
Chengdu’s first Baijiu Skills Master Studio — Yan Zhiyong Baijiu
Tasting and Blending Skills Master Studio. Honored as one of
the inaugural “Chengdu Craftsmen” by the Chengdu Municipal
Party Committee and Government, he also serves as an expert
committee member of the Doctoral Innovation Workstation of
Qiongjiu Institute.
Furthermore, Yan is the officially designated representative
inheritor of Sichuan Province’s Intangible Cultural Heritage
Representative Project: the Traditional Distilling Techniques of
Distilled Liquor (Wenjun Liquor Traditional Brewing Techniques).
