James has over 15 years experience across the wine, beer and spirits industry. He is the spirits buyer for London wine merchant, Jeroboams.

Originally from Oban, his career started in the Edinburgh wine trade, before a move to London brought about a switch to the buying side of the industry, focussing on spirits. James also holds a PhD in Media, Communications and Cultural Studies from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
