Starting his wine career in 2003 in London, Paulo Brammer became head sommelier for the three Michelin-starred Pourcel brothers in 2005.
In 2008, he made the move out of fine dining to take on a new challenge as group wine buyer at ETM Group, during his time there, the company were awarded Best Group Drinks Offer by Harpers Magazine and Paulo was nominated Pub Personality of the Year by Imbibe.
In 2013 Brammer cofounded a wine and spirits academy in Brazil, which has been recognized with accolades including in 2017, educator of the year by WSET Global and FWS Provider of the year in 2019 by the Wine Scholar Guild.
Paulo was also recently included in the Future 50 Awards, highlighting 50 of the global industry´s up and coming talents, a joint venture between the WSET and IWSC.
Recently Brammer joined Berkmann Wine Cellars Brasil as business partner and Purchase Director.
Paulo is IWSC Ambassador and Judge for South America.
