Barry enjoys a number of roles in the drinks and hospitality worlds. He is the Co-founder and Board member of Kaiju Drinks, a Japanese spirits company and Morso, a London-based Italian restaurant and Grappa bar chain. A true student and enthusiast of the beverage game, Barry has been a wine and spirits judge for over 10 years specializing in all aspects of Asian drinks like Sake, Shochu and Asian spirits as well as wine (Italy and France) and Agave beverages. He's presented numerous masterclasses and acts as beverage buyer for over 20 private clients .
Barry's past includes 20 years experience in the beverage and hospitality industries. He has previously owned an Italian wine import agency, led a number of high profile food and beverage events and consulted on spirits, cocktails and wines for over 20 bar and restaurant concepts including - Morso, Freakscene, Black Roe, Hankies, Nirvana, Kim Chee and Chotto Matte where he made Finalist in Wine List of the year in 2013. Barry is also a fully certified Sake sommelier and achieved a runners up result in World Sake Sommelier of the Year in 2013.
