Christine Parkinson

With a background as a Head Chef, and in restaurant management, Christine spent 18 years at Hakkasan, eventually becoming Group Head of Wine. Along the way she extended her department to work with sake, then in 2015 set up an in-house no/low drinks research project which ran for two years. Her globally based team sourced products, recipes, and techniques of no/low from around the world and developed several new drinks. The resulting 'Orchard List' was one of the first major no/low offerings in a restaurant group. Christine recently founded a no/low consultancy, Brimful Drinks, supporting no/low brands through the whole process from product formulation to benchmarking and branding. She has won numerous awards including IWSC Lifetime Achievement, Imbibe Industry Legend, WSET Educator of the Year and the Wine & Spirits Ambassador Catey.
