IWSC to hold its fourth Global Judging in South Africa

We are delighted to announce that we will be returning to South Africa in 2025 for our fourth Global Judging event in the country. The previous three years have been a resounding success with fantastic results each year. In 2024 alone, a total of over 520 medals were awarded to South African wines, including as many as 36 golds.

In 2025, the Global Judging will take place at Diamant Estate in Paarl on 23 - 28 June. Our panel will be overseen by member of the Wine Judging Committee and Wine Buyer for The Wine Society Victoria Mason MW. With over a decade of experience in the wine trade, including a tenure as a Wine Buyer for a leading UK retailer, Victoria has a keen understanding of market trends and consumer preferencesVictoria will be joined by a team of on-trade and off-trade judges including leading Buyers, top Sommeliers, expert Communicators and more.

Producers entering the IWSC Wine Judging in South Africa will benefit from:
