The IWSC’s 2025 London Dry Gin Producer Trophy, sponsored by The Gin Guild, has been awarded to Store Gin, created by Hawkridge Distillers in collaboration with The Store, a luxury hotel in the heart of Oxford.
Judges described Store Gin as “a top effort, a gin of real balance and character”, praising its “vibrant juniper, well-judged spice, bright citrus, and refreshing finish.” Pal Gleed, Director General of The Gin Guild, added:
“This is exactly the standard of gin the Gin Guild is proud to see recognised with a trophy win.”
For Hawkridge Distillers, the award highlights another outstanding year of achievement. Spirits Judging Committee member Olivier Ward noted their versatility and consistency across the London Dry style:
“Hawkridge Distillers continue to showcase their ability to produce high-quality London Dry gin, expressed in both classic and more contemporary profiles. They’ve also shown the power of leaning into contract work - using their skill and creativity to deliver for clients. So not only are they making great gins that really stand out in the glass; from a business perspective, they’re also leaning into the clear demand for custom-made, small-batch authentic products that many clients up and down the UK want as their own.”
Ward added:
“They’ve had a fantastic year, and given what they make, it’s irresistible to pour one and raise a toast.”
The London Dry Gin Trophy celebrates excellence in one of the industry’s most technically demanding categories. With this year’s win, Store Gin joins a long line of IWSC champions that embody balance, clarity, and the timeless character of London Dry.
Congratulations to Store Gin and Hawkridge Distillers.
