IWSC announces shortlist for Scotch Whisky Producer and Worldwide Whiskey Producer Trophies

With only two weeks until the Whisky Awards Ceremony hosted at Edinburgh’s Balmoral Hotel, the IWSC is pleased to reveal the shortlist for two of the industry’s most sought-after trophies.

The Scotch Whisky Producer and Worldwide Whiskey Producer trophies recognise the standout producers within each respective category. Six producers have been shortlisted in both categories following their medal success and the winners will be announced by hosts Joel Harrison and Becky Paskin at the IWSC’s Whisky Award Ceremony on Thursday 21 October.

Following the announcement, both winners, together with the winners of the producer trophies for the other key spirits categories will be put forward for the title of Outstanding Spirits Producer, which will be announced on 5 November.

Nominees for IWSC Whisky Producer Trophies:

The trophies will be awarded at the Awards Ceremony at Edinburgh’s The Balmoral Hotel on Thursday 21 October. Other awards also announced on the evening are:

  • Single Malt Scotch Whisky Trophy – 15 Years and Under

  • US Whiskey Trophy 
  • Worldwide Whiskey Trophy
