Dr Winnie Bowman is a Cape Wine Master, but also holds PhD in Education. She has long-standing experience as a wine and spirit-tasting judge. She also organises corporate and private wine & brandy/spirits tastings.


In addition, Winnie is also a member of the exclusive South African Brandy Guild and the Commanderie de Bordeaux en Afrique du Sud.


She is a member of the Education Committee of the Institute of Cape Wine masters and immediate past chairperson of the Circle of Wine Writers and member of the Association of Wine Educators.


Her writing includes wine/brandy and restaurant reviews for the Die Burger and Beeld newspapers, Whisky and More magazine.
