Barry is Co-Founder and Board Member of Kaiju Drinks, a global private-label drinks consultancy. A wine and spirits judge for over 15 years, he specialises in Asian beverages, gin, vodka, agave and vermouth. He operates at board and advisory level within the premium drinks and hospitality sectors, leveraging more than 25 years of industry experience to design and deliver world-class drinking experiences. His background includes ownership of an Italian wine import agency and bar consultancy roles for some of London’s leading hospitality brands. He has built bar and restaurant concepts, delivered professional education seminars, managed and launched large-scale hospitality operations, and developed multiple spirits brands. Barry is a certified Sake Sommelier and was Runner-Up in the World Sake Sommelier of the Year (2013). His wine list for Chotto Matte achieved second place in the Wine List of the Year competition.
