Last month, the IWSC visited Georgia for its first 'in situ' wine judging of the new 2023 awards year.
The judging panel was led by Sarah Abbott MW, and included IWSC judges Cat Lomax, Megan Clarke, Maggie Macpherson, and Salvatore Castano. Together with local experts, they tasted almost 500 entries from Georgian wine producers, awarding 16 Gold medals, 63 Silver medals and 209 Bronze medals.
