The IWSC win 'Best Awards Event' and 'Awards Event of the Year'

2015 saw the IWSC team pick up not just one, but two awards for the prestigious Annual Awards Banquet which is held at the spectacular Guildhall in London. Earlier in the year, the event was awarded Best Awards Event͛ by the Conference Awards, which was followed by 'Awards Event of the Year' at the PPA Connect Awards.

Both awards recognise and reward the very best events and celebrate the achievements within the events sectors.

"Our judges struggled to find any weaknesses in this high-quality event" said the judges. "Press coverage generated by the awards was extremely impressive. In addition, the judging process was incredibly robust, complex and on a truly impressive scale, this was the standout winner in this closely fought category."

Ewan Lacey, General Manager of the International Wine & Spirit Competition, commented on the win:
