From
Rioja, Spain
Tasting Note
" Very intense and pungent nose, smokey, assertive with a herbal twist; the bouquet is extraordinarily rich and arresting with striking charred oak aromas, mingling with sage and waxy lemons. The palate continues the smokey theme and finds big concentration, punchy and bold flavours, dry full and well developed and at peak of maturity, lasting long in the aftertaste. A perfectly mature wine, in the traditional style, which ticks all the right boxes. "
