Tasting Note
" Deep inky purple crimson colour. Smells like an autumn fruit harvest! Boysenberry, sugar plum, cherry, loganberry and mulberry. In the mouth, the complexity of flavours is apparent, the fantastic melange of sweet fruit is strewn with smoked spices, espresso, black pepper, herb garden, framboise, grilling meat, sweet earth and an underlying toasty oak background note. Superb balance for such a robust wine, the tension and build is fabulous and the wine keeps giving in the mouth, lingering for an age. Beautiful wine, fantastic winemaking, from an outstanding vintage. "
