" Deep core with wide, fading rim. Very attractive nose with hints of maturity with cassis, ripe plum, chocolate, tapenade, pencil shavings and light smoky note. Big, floral backing. Rear is brought up by prune, plum and almonds. Equally complex in the ultra smooth mouth where all of the nose offered with addition of fruitcake, fynbos and blackberry notes. Light, attractive earthy flavour leads into an almost tannin free finish. Gorgeous at this age but has lots more to still offer. "
