" Deep core with tight blue/purple edge. Complex nose with blackberry, strawberry, plum and mulberry. Hints of dark chocolate, treacle and vanilla. Firm, full entry and good, flow across the palate. Flavours follow the nose with mint and anise coming into play. Mouth filling and deep. Firm but supple tannins. Impressive, long finish. Good now but will well repay four to six years cellaring. "
