In 2019, Emma transitioned to the Wine team at Waitrose, embarking on a journey of discovery and expertise in the realm of wine. Her role in the Wine team involved managing promotional and above-the-line activities, and it was during this time that she also pursued her passion for wine by completing her WSET qualifications.

In early 2023, she stepped into the role of a Wine Buyer at Waitrose, entrusted with selecting and curating an exquisite selection of wines. Her responsibilities include sourcing wines from Austria, Germany, Eastern Europe, and the 'Rest of the World,' as well as managing Alternative Formats and wines from England & Wales. This role showcases her ability to identify and bring to market exceptional wines that meet the discerning standards of Waitrose customers. 

Emma's expertise and commitment extend beyond her role at Waitrose. In June 2023, she had the honor of serving as a judge for the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC) in Austria, a testament to her growing influence and reputation in the wine industry.
