The IWSC award-winning Amaretti Non-Alcoholic Spirit from Australian producer Lyre’s was featured on the popular ITV magazine show ‘This Morning’, on Thursday 21 January. With an average audience of 1.5 million viewers every day, the TV show is one of the UK's most popular chat shows on national television.

David Kermode, radio, television, social media presenter and IWSC judge introduced a range of low and non-alcoholic drinks that could be of interest to the estimated six and a half million people who are taking part in dry January this year as well as those who choose not to drink alcohol. David talked to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield through a variety of options that covered beer, wine, and spirit alternatives before the two presenters tried his selection themselves.

The Lyre’s Non-Alcoholic Amaretti was their favourite. This gold medal-winning bottle scored 98 points at the IWSC in 2020 where the judges praised the authentic amaretto character with almond and marzipan notes. Both presenters agreed with the experts, enjoying the almond flavour and depth that the drink had, saying it was one of their favourites from the line-up. It is available online from Master of Malt and retails at £20.95.

Lyre’s is on a mission to craft top quality non-alcoholic spirits in a range of styles and flavour and their full selection can be found at www.lyres.co.uk.
