IWSC to hold exclusive tasting at LiWF

The International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC), is once again showcasing a range of events and exclusive tastings at the London International Wine and Spirit Fair (17th-19th May 2011). Click here to view the tasting schedule.
 
Events and press announcements will take place throughout the three days on the IWSC stand located at G25 at Excel Conference Centre, London.
 
Highlights taking place on the stand include a press and trade announcement of the Northern Hemisphere Wine results (17th May 2011 at 11am) and an exclusive Clarence Dillon Wines tasting of their exciting Clarendelle range. (18th May 2011 at 2pm).
 
Other key events include a presentation from the 2011 Communicator of the Year (to be unveiled on 6th April), Chris Scott of 30/50 will hold a seminar on the structure of food and wine and Joachim Binz and Christine Parkinson from Hakkasan will supervise a VDP Tasting.
 
John West, ex Veuve Cliquot UK Managing Director, will take you on a journey of Global Bubbles and wine educator Michelle Cherutti-Kowal (MW) will communicate why Canada is a successful wine producer. The IWSC will also be showcasing a selection of wines from the up and coming regions of Turkey.
 
An open tasting of the Gold Medal winners will take place on the final day (19th May 2011 at 16:00).
 
IWSC Executive Director Allen Gibbons comments: “We have an extremely impressive line-up of events to back up our Northern Hemisphere Wine Results announcements. We’re pleased to be having an exclusive tasting of Chateau Haut-Brion’s Clarendelle range, as well as a presentation of Canadian wines following the regions success in scooping an amazing four Trophies in the 2010 Competition”.
