" Deep, dark core with bright ruby rim. Nose booms out cassis and sweet spice with lavender in the background. Imposing entry into the mouth with what the nose promised in succulent flavours. More berry fruit and vanilla comes into focus with the spice. Firm tannins but great balance. Somewhat of an old world character and will need time to mellow. A five to six year wait will be well worth it. "
