Beatrice Bessi has worked in hospitality for over 20 years. In 2016, she moved from Italy where she was a restaurant manager in a Michelin-starred establishment, to London. Thirsty to increase her knowledge of the wine world, she joined 67 Pall Mall. Here she started as Junior Sommelier, working her way up to become Assistant Head Sommelier. In those three and a half years, she studied for the Court of Master Sommelier qualifications and she managed in 2019 to achieve the Advanced CMS . Currently Beatrice is Global Wine Director of Chiltern Firehouse in Marylebone, and two other hotels between Los Angeles and Long Island, NY. She is a certified WSET Educator, Rioja Educator and certified Diploma ASI. At the moment she is candidate of the Master Sommelier qualification and the WSET Diploma.
