IWSC Appoints New Sales Manager

 

The International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) has announced the appointment of Eduardo Flores to the role of sales manager.

 

Eduardo has a wealth of experience in marketing and business development. He joins from Decanter where he managed a sales portfolio of over 2000 wine producers across 18 countries.

 

Eduardo Flores said, “I am thrilled to be joining The International Wine & Spirit Competition as sales manager. With 2014 marking the 45th anniversary of IWSC, it is an exciting time to be joining the team.”

 

The International Wine and Spirit Competition started in 1969 with the aim to promote the quality and excellence of the world's best wines, spirits and liqueurs. Now in its 45th year it is widely acknowledged as the most prestigious and independent contest of its type in the world, the tastings last seven months with over 300 judges from 30 countries.

 

Entries are now being taken for the 2014 competition.

Its aim is to promote the quality and excellence of the world's best wines, spirits and liqueurs. All entries are blind tasted in groups divided by variety, region and vintage as necessary.

 

Each year the IWSC has a new president and 2014 marks the start of Laura Catena’s presidency.
