From
Alto Adige, Italy
Tasting Note
" Wines from this cross of Riesling and Schiava varietals are rarely seen outside Alto Adige, and production is limited, but on the evidence of this little gem it should be encouraged. The nose is pungent, stimulating and vibrant with subtle hints of petrol and gunflint; the palate, fllowing a gentle entry, has a crescendo and almost explodes with flavour and fruity notes, kiwi and melon, with a touch of almonds and sweet slices. Delightful! "
