Douro Doc, Portugal
Tasting Note
" Opaque purple in colour. A lively and youthful nose is bursting with primary, attractive dark fruit aromas including bramble jelly and pronounced blackcurrant along with menthol and chocolate notes. Full-bodied, fruit-driven and incredibly rich on the palate, youthful dark fruit again comes to the fore, this time with whispers of liquorice, graphite and vanilla. Dense and structured, with balanced tannins and a youthful vinosity. Long on the finish. Whilst drinking well now, this wine has great potential to age gracefully. "
