" Deep ruby-purple, almost black colour, the wine shows mixed berry fruit and toasty oak. The palate is lively but supple with elegant, silk-textured tannins and good freshness. Lovely herbal lift, and mouthwatering, spicy finish. Very attractive. Still showing youthful fruit and will certainly benefit from another year or so and last 5-8 years easily. "
