Beans Boughton MW is a wine buyer and Master of Wine based in Oxford, with more than 15 years of experience across buying, category management and wine consultancy. As Buyer for Italy, Germany, Austria and emerging Central European regions at Alliance Wine, he works closely with producers to develop distinctive ranges for the UK and international markets, from everyday wines to fine-wine allocations. Previously Fine Wine Category Manager for MMI in Dubai, Beans worked with many of the world’s most sought-after estates and worked closely with sommeliers, collectors and trade buyers. He became a Master of Wine in 2020 and enjoys sharing knowledge through judging, education and industry tastings.
