From
Languedoc-Roussillon, France
Tasting Note
" Deep ruby purple colour. Lovely intensity of dark juicy fruits, damson plums, mulberry and blackcurrant with spices, dark chocolate and kirsch; a herbal sage leaf top note. Lovely layering of flavours, of top notes - sweet ripe bramble fruits, toned with juicy dark plums, spiced cake, smoke, herbs, liquorice and a peppery undertow. The tannins have a firm grip but are ripe, the acidity needs to melt in a bit. Very long, would be great now with food. "
